Craig has 29 years’ operational experience within the forensic departments of large metropolitan police forces. During this time, he achieved the rank of depot Supervisor and accrued a wealth of management and leadership skills as well as a vast amount of practical CSI and Crime Scene Management and Co-coordinator experience. With several other specialist skills, he has fulfilled the CSM role in several other high profile enquiries most notably a quadruple homicide and numerous other high-profile incidents. His management experience was recognised by the Chartered Management Institute and he has been responsible for improving performance and operational effectiveness at several CSI departments in the North East of England and Wales. During the latter stages of his career, he was a forensic trainer for the College of Policing, with a predominant focus on the delivery of CSI Stage 1 and Stage 2 courses at the Centre of Forensic Excellence at Harperley Hall, Durham, earning him a Certificate of Education. In addition to UK based training, he has delivered forensic training in the Middle East and recently conducted training needs analysis, capability reviews, gap analysis and training in South America. Craig is passionate about forensics and the opportunities it can bring in developing environments.
