The role of the forensic anthropologist is to assist with the identification of human skeletal material and where possible create a biological profile including investigating and interpreting trauma of the remains. They may also be required to assist with the recovery of human remains from difficult or complex environments. Experts perform their services in accordance with the Royal Anthropological Institute UK, 2018 Code of Practises)
