Isobel has almost 20 years of combined experience in crime scene investigation and teaching in higher education. During this time, she has served as a crime scene investigator and manager, and has received several awards and commendations for her efforts in major crime investigations and as a forensic trainer to law enforcement professionals and under / post graduate students. She has considerable and current experience as a trainer for overseas counter terrorism CSI whilst also developing and administering quality management processes for forensic investigation and awareness training within UK Home Office Police. Isobel also continues to lecture within higher education, with a predominant focus on crime scene investigation, crime scene management, forensic sciences, fire investigation and human remains recovery, amongst many others. It is this breadth of specialist knowledge and experience, together with a wide range of qualifications and demonstrable leadership and management experience, that identify Isobel as a subject matter expert in the development and delivery of forensic training and the IGC lead for external proficiency testing and compliance with professional standards.
